2024 has been a transformative year for HIVED, marked by significant achievements across new partnerships, innovation, and team growth, in addition to winning UK StartUp of the Year. Take a look at our top 4 of 2024!
Operational Excellence
At HIVED, operational excellence isn’t just a goal—it’s a standard. In 2024, we demonstrated our ability to deliver superior service despite growing substantially, maintaining a 99% on-time SLA throughout Q4, and most notably during the peak season. For years we have been working on our purpose-built technology which has allowed us to hit such high quality even during our peak periods. We made significant updates to several of our systems throughout the year, including our driver app ahead of peak to help them locate addresses a lot easier.
This year, HIVED has successfully showcased the high service quality and satisfaction within our network, as our Trustpilot reviews have impressively surged by 190% year-on-year. Our tech-enabled parcel delivery system is truly designed for today’s world of ecommerce — and today’s customers.
Beyond our sophisticated technology, HIVED has continued to operate a 100% all electric middle and final mile, with an 101% increase in fleet size. Our unique model ensures that we are meeting the demands of our retail partners and recipients, whilst upholding our commitment to a sustainability-as-standard operation.
Brands
In 2024, we quadrupled our volume thanks to the addition of some major retailers, most notably Nespresso, Uniqlo, and John Lewis. A standout moment of this year of growth was our collaboration with Nespresso, celebrating our partnership as well as launching Nespresso’s first-ever branded van in our all-electric fleet.

HIVED is all about offering retailers and consumers an exceptional post purchase experience, and fundamentally this is why amazing brands are choosing to work with us. As we continue into 2025, our goal remains the same: to enhance every delivery experience for recipients whilst solidifying our position as the go-to delivery courier for brands who are focused on top-quality performance and a sustainable-as-standard delivery partner.
Team
This year was a major growth year for HIVED’s excellent full-time employees and talented delivery team who continuously go above and beyond. With a 67% increase in our full-time employee headcount, the expansion of our team has been essential in supporting the goals we achieved in 2024 and for the ambitious goals lined up for 2025.
Our senior team has expanded as we welcomed Andrew Baker as VP Sales, whose experience within the logistics industry has already played a huge role in driving strategic partnerships and ensuring relationships thrive within our network.

We were also thrilled to welcome our new CFO, Craig Wallington, to the team. As we head into the new year, Craig’s wealth of experience will be key in strengthening our operational foundations and the continued success of HIVED.
Impact
Beyond an excellent delivery experience, our sustainability-as-standard delivery model is what sets HIVED apart. We operate a 100% electric middle and final mile, an entirely unique feat in the industry.
We continuously look toward the future of innovation and sustainable solutions that look beyond electrification, collaborating with some of the top sustainable technologies to trial industry-breaking initiatives. We partnered with The Tyre Collective, a clean tech company dedicated to reducing the impact of tyre wear on the environment. We provided a testbed for their technology, reinforcing our commitment to setting new industry standards for impact and responsibility.
