Murvah & Mathias found HIVED
Our founders Murvah & Mathias started delivering parcels on their bikes whilst building the first version of our tech stack, laying the foundations for a customer-first delivery network.
First steps as a real operation
We opened our first depot, acquired a fleet of electric vans, and welcomed our first major retail partners. The team grew as operations scaled across London, alongside early investment in proprietary technology to support smarter routing and tracking.
We hit 50 employees
HIVED continued to scale volumes, headcount, and coverage across London while investing heavily in product, data and operational tooling. This year focused on strengthening the foundations needed to support future growth and more complex operations.
Growing our London footprint
We introduced a multi-site operating model in London, expanding depot infrastructure and operational capacity. The team continued to grow, and we delivered on reliable deliveries at a much larger scale, proving the resilience of the network.
Our Series B funded some serious expansion
HIVED raised a $42m Series B, expanded into eight new UK cities along the South Coast, opened the Hayes depot and launched electric HGV and haulage operations. We became a certified B Corporation and were recognised by WIRED and Supply Chain Digital for our impact and growth.

We are continuing to grow at lightning speed, onboarding new customers every week and still nailing performance. We were also recognised as #7 on The Sunday Times Tech 100, reflecting our continued growth and momentum.

Murvah & Mathias found HIVED

HIVED continued to scale volumes, headcount, and coverage across London while investing heavily in product, data and operational tooling. This year focused on strengthening the foundations needed to support future growth and more complex operations.
2023
