“Since inception Codestorm have been passionate about innovation and sustainability has been a key focus both for us internally and for our clients, helping them to reduce the carbon footprint through packaging choices, recycling options and energy saving at all of our facilities.
"This partnership is a key step forward in supporting our clients and our own sustainability goals. With D2C and e-commerce in high growth mode addressing the carbon footprint of deliveries is critical and we are pleased to be leading this initiative from the front, helping the brightest e-commerce and D2C firms to take strong sustainability steps”.
Murvah Iqbal, Co-Founder and Co-CEO at HIVED said:
“At HIVED, we are building emission-free parcel delivery at scale — greener, cheaper and better in every way. Partnering with Codestorm unlocks the next level of our journey, providing a whole network of retailers with a sustainable option for their Greater London deliveries”.
Passionate about sustainability, HIVED aims to provide the best service possible at a more affordable price. Founded in 2020 by Murvah Iqbal and Mathias Krieger, HIVED was built to create the world’s first mass-market emission-free parcel delivery network. They run an entirely electric fleet, with all nationwide collections and deliveries are made by an electric vehicle, whether van, car or bike.
Codestorm, which provides innovative D2C fulfilment and e-commerce fulfilment solutions for some of the UK’s brightest brands, selected HIVED as part of a wider programme to create a suite of more sustainable options for both clients and their customers.
Codestorm, which counts national and internationally renowned brands including Candy Kittens, Tarquins Gin and Tribe amongst its clients, partnered with HIVED to create a zero-cost increase, sustainable option to all clients. Enabled through their innovative LINK e-fulfilment software, clients across all sectors were empowered to opt for HIVED sustainable delivery where available. With many clients choosing this option, the postcode-driven service integrated seamlessly across LINK with zero interference to existing CMS or e-commerce platforms, applicable deliveries were automatically fed into the HIVED network for sustainable delivery.
Jo Lucas, Head of Business Development at Codestorm said:
“This is a great step forwards for Codestorm and HIVED, with over 2.3 Million orders fulfilled and 11.5 Million picks last year we recognise just how important sustainability and value is for our clients.
