Case study: Nudie Jeans Co offers emission-free store-to-door deliveries with HIVED
Nudie Jeans was established in 2001 based on the idea of only producing high-quality garments made to last. With a vision to become the world's most sustainable denim brand, the company has a strong commitment to holistic sustainability practices and transparent production — using 100% organic cotton and offering free repairs and alterations for their jeans so they can be worn for years.
During the pandemic, Nudie Jeans had the opportunity to further incorporate sustainability into their core practices, including their logistics solutions. With shipments to over 50 countries worldwide, the company specifically realised the possibility of going local.
Instead of shipping all the way from their warehouse in Sweden with an international courier, Nudie Jeans transitioned to an in-store solution with the delivery platform Ingrid. The transition enabled their stores to turn into mini-warehouses and fulfil web orders directly store-to-door.
By working with HIVED, Nudie Jeans can now offer London customers emission-free deliveries directly from stores, primarily with next-day and same-day delivery options.
