Case study: HIVED decarbonises Pip & Nut’s deliveries for long-term sustainability strategy

HIVED recently partnered with Pip & Nut — an all-natural nut butter brand — ensuring a dependable and emission-free shipping solution to support the development of the business's long-term sustainability strategy.

All about nut butter done better

After learning about HIVED's emission-free delivery, Pip & Nut became the first customer to choose them as a shipping partner through the e-fulfilment platform provider, Codestorm in July 2022.

Pip Murray, the founder of Pip & Nut, built the business with a clear vision to prioritise the planet and people. Since its launch, the mission has translated into a proud B-Corp offering a range of high-quality nut butter products across the UK and Ireland.

Pip shared:

"As a certified B corporation, choosing HIVED as our delivery partner made great sense to us. In 2021 we developed a long-term strategy to become a net-zero business. HIVED's emission-free service will help to reduce our carbon footprint and is a part of a continuous investment in sustainability efforts across the entire supply chain”.

Jack Follett, Growth Lead at HIVED, commented:

"We're very proud to be working with a brand like Pip & Nut. Their commitment to the environment is admirable and we're thrilled to be able to help them with their mission and be part of their carbon reduction plan".

Beyond aligning on sustainability, HIVED also offers Pip & Nut a dependable and efficient delivery service. It’s crucial that all deliveries must be made on time and with care when handling food items.

HIVED now ships all their volume within London, with next-day and two-day delivery options.

About Pip & Nut

Pip & Nut began in 2013 when the founder, Pip, started making nut butters at home. After entering and winning a competition called 'Escape to the Shed', Pip had the opportunity to launch a crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube, hitting the target in less than ten days.

The first Pip & Nut jars launched onto the shelves of Selfridges in London in January 2015 — and you can now find squirrels popping up in more than 5,000 stores across the UK and Ireland.
